Dr. John Coyne

Dr. John Coyne has been practicing veterinary medicine for 50 years. Growing up on a livestock farm in Pontiac, IL, he realized at a young age that he wanted to become a veterinarian.

He attended the University of Illinois for both undergraduate and veterinary school, graduating in 1974. During his long and successful career, he has been the primary or associate owner of many high-volume animal hospitals throughout the midwest.

Dr. Coyne has been married to his wife Ruth for 50 years. Together they share two daughters and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys cheering on Chicago and Illini sports teams and watching his grandchildren compete in their various activities.
